It is sometimes very difficult to believe that our struggles are deliberately put there to prepare us for the challenges ahead but looking back I can connect the dots.
The butterfly was supposed to go through that struggle to prepare for the future, unknowing to the man he aborted the destiny of that butterfly thinking he was being helpful.
Is there any struggle you are going through right now? I bet there are many. Look for the silver lining, what is it trying to teach you? what are you learning from it? If you don’t pick the vital lessons now, you will struggle even more in the future.
Best believe it, these struggles are a stepping stone to your next big accomplishment.

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole.
Until it suddenly stopped making any progress, and looked like it was stuck.
So the man decided to help the butterfly.
He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily, although it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.
The man didn’t think anything of it, and sat there waiting for the wings to enlarge to support the butterfly. But that didn’t happen. The butterfly spent the rest of its life unable to fly, crawling around with tiny wings and a swollen body.

How do you feel about your life?
For me, if I’m being honest about it, I’ve been pretty hard on myself lately—especially when it comes to my career.
Being a freelancer, I either feel like I’m doing too much, not doing enough, not doing enough of the right jobs, not making enough money, etc.
Basically: I’m not enough.
I sometimes think “I should just get a regular full-time job again.”
Sure, I never had a full-time job that was fulfilling. But it was stable, and I left work at work. I never went home thinking, “I should have done more.”
But last week I caught a glimpse of my life from the outside.
My husband was talking on the phone to his dad, and he was talking about my career.
